Rolls & Resets
OPEN TO BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS
Want to learn how to beat bangers???
A reset is an absolutely essential shot to disarm, slow down and minimize you opponent’s attacks. One of the most defensive neutralizing shots in pickleball, it’s also one of the most difficult shots to master. When you do, you can begin to control the offensive attacks from your opponents to either stay in control or regain control as you progress through the transition zone to the NVZ.
The reset is an absolutely necessary shot to master if you want to be an all-around advanced pickleball player. It’s the one shot where you will have more of a catching motion than a pushing motion, but you’ll start catching up with other advanced players when you can reset your way to more victories.

Curriculum:
This will be heavily focused on drills for repetition to optimize this skill. You will learn how to process when to hit a reset how to effectively hit the shot to remain on balance and move from a defensive position to a more offensive one.
We have designed a dynamic drill to create the proper “good hands” needed for this shot. During the clinic you remain at various places in the transition zone for maximize reps. You will also play two versions of a game called 7-11 to learn how to implement the shot and make your opponent work as hard as possible to get a point.
